Friday, November 1

#1 |Swan Lake II & Sleeping Beauty Act III – A Tribute to Tchaikovsky [All-Play]

The immortalized characters of Swan Lake & Sleeping Beauty come alive on stage this November with two enchanting love stories set to the timeless scores of the legendary Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Children under 5 years old not permitted.

The University of Nevada Las Vegas is bringing its annual homecoming celebration back to Town Square. The week-long celebration culminates on November 1 with a homecoming parade through the streets of Town Square, a Rebel Rally in Town Square Park and a window decorating contest on Town Square storefronts. The parade will begin at 6 p.m. and feature float entries created by student organizations.

During the Shop for Success clothing sale designer clothing and professional top-condition attire will be available for significantly reduced prices, starting at $2. Cash or credit will be accepted. The proceeds will benefit Dress for Success Southern Nevada programs supporting disadvantaged women in the Las Vegas valley seeking employment.

This 3,000-year-old Hispanic celebration honoring loved ones is full of joy and tradition. Expanding to three days this year, this family-friendly event blends rich customs with exciting activities such as live theater and dance performances, mariachis, face painting, sugar skull decorating and an art exhibition.
