Wet’n’Wild Las Vegas today announced that two separate promotions slated for August and September will celebrate seniors and veterans.

The park’s Senior Citizen Days will run Aug. 21-23, when senior citizens ages 65+ will be able to gain entry into the park for free. Complimentary tickets will be available at the ticket windows, only on the event dates.

On Sept.12 and 13, the Salute To Our Heroes promotion serves as a small token of appreciation for all those who serve and keep us safe, with free general admission to active members of the U.S. military, veterans and first responders, including active-duty police, sheriff, highway patrol, firefighters, EMT and paramedics. To receive a complimentary ticket, guests must show a valid ID or badge. Heroes may also purchase up to six discounted admission tickets for family members at $19.99 per person.

“It’s a unique opportunity to be able to give back to those who have worked to serve their communities and their families,” said Takuya Ohki, general manager of Wet‘n’Wild Las Vegas. “We are entrenched in this community, and we want to recognize our local heroes whenever possible.”

Wet‘n’Wild Las Vegas is located at 7055 S. Fort Apache Road near I-215 and Sunset Road. For information about season passes, group sales or sponsorships, call 702-979-1600 or visit www.wetnwildlasvegas.com.
